We’ve retained the look and dimensions of the original Thorens headshell and and will fit the TP-11 and TP-16 tonearms.
Our versatile design allows for top mounting of the cartridge through the recessed screw slots. The top mounting design not only provides more flexibility with mounting hardware it also allows for cartridge positioning when aligning using a two point protractor or our TP 60 alignment gauge (sold separately).
Thorens logo headshell badges are available from other online sellers if you want to cover the screw slots.
Since our headshell weighs slightly less than the original so we’ve included a weight plate to compensate for the difference. Also included are fully insulated OFC wire leads.
